As sure as I had been of my destination in this dream image, I was instantly proven wrong by an intervention. I had a feeling of dizziness and disorientation. I stood in the middle of the desert, which now was empty. Everyone else had disappeared. Or then again: it might have actually been me that had been displaced and paralysed beyond capability of moving on my own. The sand underneath my feet began to move and I realised that the desert was actually an hourglass and I was standing above the hole through which sand was falling very rapidly. I struggled to climb away from the enlarging pit, but I was defeated by the quicksand. I reached the drain at the bottom and found myself amidst the loads of sand being forced through the narrowest part of this megalomanic hourglass.
Enlightenment. It was not an ordinary timeglass. For after falling through I understood that my location - if such a thing could have been said to exist at that point - was outside of time and space. And behold! I was outside the system of time and space - and yet able to read them both like a series of still images of a multidimensional movie. For a moment, I experienced a feeling of definite and final understanding of everything: There was my universe, its history, future and past before my very senses. Alas, this marvel soon became troubling, frustrating and thoroughly ugly. Every single peek that I took to examine this catalogue of timespace events changed its shape, and never could I look at the same place twice and find exactly the same things both times. The further I browsed backwards the greater had the changes been that my far-away peeks had caused. All this information was readily available to me, but it was so frustratingly useless. And I had been pushed away from the system. I could not figure out a way to get back into time - or space.
The Beast is thundering
Within smoke that it exhales
I am eaten by the Beast
And then I can see with its Eyes
I am taken to places that lie beyond Time
But even the Beast grows too tired to fly
The Beast spits me out and I understand
I look at its Eyes and the Cycle is complete
Looking down back History
I lost track of Time
There's too much elephant talk
I try to decipher this
Voices within the head
So strangely they are
Shown to me by the Beast
I think I see
I think I know
Tomorrow
Today
Tomorrow
It's all just Perspective!
I question my Existence in here
I must question everything
